two empty chairs on the beach
Dear Patients,

This letter is to inform you that as of August 5, 2022, I will be retiring from Mallen Chiropractic. I will, however, be at the office for several weeks during a transition period. I have been incredibly blessed to have found a career that was more than just a job. For almost twenty-four years, I’ve been rewarded by getting to know you and your families. I’ve supported you through both the good and difficult times. It’s been a real honor to serve as your chiropractor, help so many of you overcome pain and trauma, and guide you in your wellness journey.

Considering this new adventure, I will be transferring the practice to Dr. Matt Symons, owner of a dynamic and comprehensive chiropractic clinic in Royal Palm Beach. Dr. Symons and I are committed to a smooth transfer of patient care, so your treatment will not be interrupted. Dr. Symons will maintain custody of the Mallen Chiropractic patient records and is committed to maintaining the confidentiality of all such records.

You may, however, with a written request within two months of August 5, 2022, pick up a copy of your records or have them mailed to you. A reasonable charge of .25 cents per page may be required to cover the cost of duplicating records. Postage may be charged for large files as well, if necessary.

This is not a goodbye. I’ll be around. I’ll just have a more laid-back vibe and be able to chat a little longer when I bump into you around town.

I wish you all optimum wellness, time with family, joy, and peace — all the very best that life has to offer.

Sincerely,

Dr. Edward J. Mallen
